Peyton Manning Tried the Happy Gilmore Swing — It Went Poorly

With so much time on their hands after the end of the football season, NFL players seek out many ways to pass the time. For Peyton Manning, this apparently includes trying out the iconic Happy Gilmore golf swing.

But if you're familiar with the Happy Gilmore swing, you know the shot involves an excessively long backswing, some wild contortions by the person attempting the swing, and — for Happy Gilmore — a golf ball that sails through the air and lands on the green.

Peyton Manning, apparently, did not have the same success. The video posted on Instagram shows Manning walking up to a tee box and attempting the swing, which is obnoxiously long and winding and eventually results in a swing and miss. Golf Digest

Luckily for Manning, he's a Super Bowl champion with a Hall of Fame career. So he can afford to laugh at himself when he tries something new and fails.
