2023 Boston Marathon Winners: An Update
Men's Field
The 2023 Boston Marathon men's field was led by Kenyan Benson Kipruto, who finished the race in a time of 2:04:32. Kipruto was followed by fellow Kenyan Evans Chebet, who finished in 2:04:44. American Scott Fauble rounded out the podium with a time of 2:08:39.
Women's Field
In the women's field, Kenyan Peres Jepchirchir defended her title with a time of 2:21:01. Jepchirchir was followed by Ethiopian Degitu Azimeraw, who finished in 2:21:26. American Nell Rojas completed the podium with a time of 2:27:15.
Qualification for the 2024 Boston Marathon
The qualifying window for the 2024 Boston Marathon is open from September 1, 2022, through the conclusion of the registration period at 5:00 PM ET on September 15, 2023.
